Arjun Atwal thread
If there is a Jeev thread I thought a Arjun thread was deserved as he is first Indian to win events on the European tour. He is still in the top 25 of the tour of merit this year and a nice article along with photos etc is available on the Asian Pga's website Here
He stands a good chance of making the British Open by the sounds of things so all the best to him.

Arjun Atwal thread
Well at the end of the Benson and Hedges International Open Arjun finshed with a score of even par and 17th along with Euro 19635.
He is currently ranked 15th on the European Volvo order error of merit and stands a good chance of making a major just based on his performance so far this year.

Arjun Atwal thread
Arjun is playing in TPC on the European tour this week but after day at +4 and about 4 shots off the cut line things don't look too good for him. Things started off pretty well for him and he was 2 under par after 4 holes but things went donwhill from there.
At +2 after 17 holes the day was looking pretty glum but a double bogey on the 18th just made for a horrible ending to a forgetable round for Arjun today. I was hoping for a reasonable performance from him here to help him make all the majors on the basis of his ranking on the European money list.

Arjun Atwal thread
At the end of the first day Arjun was tied for 125th place with a 4 above par score of 76. On the second day with 4 holes to go he is 5 above par. The projected cut may be 2 above par. We need three birdies from Arjun in the last 4 holes for him to play the last two days of the tournament.
Update:
Arjun must have heard us because he birdied the 15th hole and is at 4 above par now with three holes to go. Come on Arjun, a couple of birdies or an eagle is needed. You can do it!!!
