He will lose the momentum. But, if his body will not take it, it will not take it. He is the best judge.

Re: Roland Garros Claycourt Run-Up Tournaments 2024
The clay court season continues all through the year. Maybe they take a break around the grass court season. Hence, if he is healthy, he gets to play many more tournaments. So be healthy..... Rest will follow

Yeah, the clay season is really long, and so many more tournaments are coming up. He does not have to hurry too much right now.
Plus, I don't think he is too much of a momentum guy, who goes on or off in form for too long, or loses form after breaks. If he is healthy, he is in form and will play his game, hitting his forehands and running down balls. If he is tired, he might lose his edge and could lose. That is what we have generally seen.

^^^ I think it was some technical issue with some sort of service attack or something. Those things happen. We alerted Dhruv, who found time to fix it.

Re: Roland Garros Claycourt Run-Up Tournaments 2024
Ok..Thanks for the Info Jay, was really worried what was happening..
Well back to Tennis & As I said, Sumit has taken a break for the Long Clay- Grass Season,Which would be demanding on the body & Mind..
Its all Sumit,so much so that we forgot that Yuki Bhambri has made the doubles Final inthe BMW Open at Munich..
I really hopes he gets the Title there,as no Indian as Far as I know from Ramanathan Krishnan times has won the BMW Open at Munich..( Singles or Doubles).!!!
Would really like the Indian TAG at BMW..!!

Re: Roland Garros Claycourt Run-Up Tournaments 2024
For the History,No Indian has Ever Won the BMW Open ( Singles or Doubles),Since the Tournament started way back in 1899..
Earlier it was played on Grass Courts, Now it's played on Clay..
The Tournament plans to upgrade itself to ATP 500 From next year..
Hoping for an Indian winner Now..!!

Re: Roland Garros Claycourt Run-Up Tournaments 2024
Back to Sumit..It was a bit disappointing that he Pulled out of the Main Draw at Munich, where the Main Draw cut Fell Over 100..
Could have been a good Opportunity to Get into the Main Draw,Without Playing the Qualies..
Nevertheless he knows his Body Fitness)Recovery & Game better than anyone Else..

Actually, Sameer was updating the scores from there in Yuki's thread (as he was the only one at that event) - http://www.sports-india.com/phpBB/viewt ... 1#p4466141
