Re: European Challengers 2024
Arjun lost in the final qualifying round in singles. But pairs of Arjun/Jeevan and Anirudh/VSP have won their first round matches.
At Quimper Challenger 125, France (Hard)
[Q2] Arjun Kadhe (IND,930) l. (5) Moez Echargui (TUN,283) 67(2) 16
[R1] (4) Arjun Kadhe (IND) / Jeevan Neduncheziyan (IND) d. Viktor Durasovic (NOR) /Otto Virtanen (FIN) 76(5) 64
[R1] (2) Anirudh Chandrasekar (IND) / Vijay Sundar Prashanth (IND) d. Dan Added (FRA) / Karol Drzewiecki (POL) 63 36 10-7
Last year at this same challenger, Arjun and Anirudh had played together and reached the final. So, both of them have points to defend here.

European Challengers, Mar-Jul 2024
There will be a lot of Indian doubles pairs playing in Challengers in Europe, hopefully with some of them graduating to ATP250s or higher before long.
This week we are assured of one Indian pair being in the QF of the Murcia Challenger, with 4-Anirudh/VSP playing Rithwik/Niki in R1. Other pairs in that tournament include Arjun/Jeevan and Balaji/Begemann.
Niki lost in Q1 of singles. This is a pretty strong draw, with former #16 Basilashvili playing qualifiers, and former world #7 Richard Gasquet (admittedly 37 years old now) seeded second in the main draw.

Re: European Challengers 2024
Only Arjun/Jeevan made the SF there in Murcia. A disappointing outcome for the other 2 (1.5) pairs with Indian interest.

[QF] Anirudh Chandrasekar/N.VijaySundar Prashanth (IND/IND) l. Luca Margaroli/Santiago Rodriguez Taverna (SUI/ARG) 36 57

Re: European Challengers 2024
At the big Challenger 175 in Sardinia, Italy (clay).
[R1] (3) Yuki Bhambri (IND)/ Francisco Cabral (POR) d. (WC) Niccolo Dessi (ITA)/ Alberto Sanna (ITA), 75 60
[R1] (PR) N.Sriram Balaji (IND) Andre Begemann (GER) d. Luciano Darderi (ITA)/ Thiago Agustin Tirante (ARG), 46 63 [10-4]
[QF] (PR) N.Sriram Balaji (IND) Andre Begemann (GER) d. (3) Yuki Bhambri (IND)/ Francisco Cabral (POR), 76(5) 76(4)
[SF] (PR) N.Sriram Balaji (IND) Andre Begemann (GER) d. (2) Alexander Erler (AUT)/ Lucas Miedler (AUT), 61 64
so
[F] N.Sriram Balaji (IND) Andre Begemann (GER) vs Boris Arias (BOL)/ Federico Zeballos (BOL)
Balaji has moved up from #98 to #85 in live ranking with that... It seems they had to use Begemann's PR ranking to even make the entry at the tough challenger, but the money and points are worth it, as they have made 100 points and $4000 each

Jay, was the site down for the past 2 days? I got an "Account Suspended" error. It has happened a few times in the past month as well.

^^^ Yes, Sanjay. Some security issues were causing it, from what I understand. Dhruv had to spend some time to bring it back up, and he also moved the forum to another server now. He expects it to be more stable now.
