Re: Impact of ISL on Indian Football
Our goalkeepers Subrata Pal and Gurpreet Singh Sandhu did play for top clubs. Sandhu even played in the UEFA Europe League. Arata Izumi who had an Indian father and Japanese mother and went on to play for India after acquiring an Indian passport played in a lower tier Japanese lague.

Re: Impact of ISL on Indian Football
Subrata Pal never played in the Danish League. He may have been in the reserves at best.
Sandhu was the first and perhaps only Indian to appear in an UEFA Europa Cup league match. His club, Stabaek, was perhaps a second division Norweigian League team then.
