Jeev finished at T26th in Abu Dhabhi and that was good enough to move him up by couple of world rankings spots to 33rd spot. That also and marks as his new personal as well as Indian record. Jeev is treading unknown territories for an Indian and he'll need some good consistent performance to move further. Go Jeev! Jyoti also move up by 3 spots to 148, but he is far away from his personal best of WR 70, which is second best for any Indian (citizen). When I posted my message, the WGR site was showing Jeev to be at 27th place and Gaganjeet Bhullar at 412th. But now it shows that Jeev is 28th and Gagan is 413th. I guess there is some correction most of the rankings have shifted by one. May be they missed a player. But still both of them are at their best ranking.

Jyoti Randhawa, who was at the borderline of top 100, drops out of top 100 by two spots. Best result by an Indian in the preceding week was by Gaganjeet Bhullar who finished T2 at Sail Open. He jumped 154 places to his personal best of 413th. Amandeep Johl re-enters in the WGR system as he got some ranking points by finishing T15th in Sail open. No other Indian earned any ranking points last week. The current rankings as of March 23rd, 09 are:
