Lot of good teams get eliminated during the knockout. So i would probably include games against top 4-5 teams in each group.

Yes, but that makes things complicated. In theory, the knockout stages have the best teams. Seeing who can do well there is what we can do easily, maybe. But, players who are in these eliminated teams, we need to figure how they do against the top teams in the league stage.

Munsher khan scores unbeaten century against Baroda. Mumbai top order batting has been very ordinary and it is their all rounders powering them this season.

Munsher Khan scores a double century.. the wicket looks pretty flat and Baroda has made a strong reply.

PRP has failed again getting dismissed by offspinner.. Was that century in RSA tour a fluke? He needs to start performing at this qualification matches to be considered for indian A team.

Indrajit is another candidate that is toiling away in obscurity. Not sure if he ever got FC matches, but his average in FC is 53 and has been absolutely good against quality opponents this ranji season. Funnily enough his twin brother Aparajith who is a allrounder (with FC bat average of 38 and bowl average of 42) got India A match against RSA and failed to deliver.

But still Mumbai scored only 384 and he remained unbeaten. Also Baroda has 127-2 decent start at par with 384. I think it was a good performance.
It looks to be a slow spinning wicket where patience is a required from the score as spinner are getting the wickets an RPO is less.

Indrajith was given India A chances but may be very few and in those few chances he did not do much I can remember. He certainly deserves a full India-A run. I would put him in queue after Rinku Singh.

Not having Atit sheth has probably hurt Baroda. Mumbai looking very comfortably placed to reach semis with lead of 400+

Karnataka looking to advance to semi and will be chasing a stiff target . They need to score 268 runs woth 9 wickets in hand. Mayank finally showing some semblance of form in this ranji

MP beat Andhra to reach semis.

BCCI is silent regarding Andhra Cricket. Prudhvi Raj KN, andra player and son of influential politician has complaint against Vihari for abusing him, in return his politician father used his power to take away captaincy from Vihari. Vihari now quit Andhra Cricket & will join new Ranji team.

No action taken from BCCI as per ICC rule any board influenced by politics gets ban from International cricket, investigation should take place and Andhra Cricket association should be banned from all domestic competition if found guilty

Both Tushar Deshpande and Tanush Kotian scored a century. On the fifth day id the pitch. Wither Baroda’s bowling attack is pathetic or pitch is flat (combo of both)

Mumbai Tamilnadu could be interesting. May be shreyas Iyer is back. And sundar back for TN.

MP and Vidharbha the other semi.

I respect Vihari the cricketer and his fighting spirit playing with torn hamstring, Broken hand, et all.. but i have to say that abusing of players cannot be an acceptable practice. It may be the way he behaves, but if the person in front of u is offended your language is offensive. Usually the reserve players don’t have the power and have to accept this abuse(unfortunate reality). Prudhviraj refused it and had the power to do something. Even if the player got selected due to his political power, that does not make it right. BCCI should investigate this.

Many other players have written a letter stating that this is normal and accepted practice in the team. They registered their protest and sided with Vihari.

It is possibly normal but it needs to change. Abusive language in a workplace should not be condoned.
