Anshul Kamboj took all 10 wickets against Kerela in Ranji Tropjy game and joins Deepak Chahar who had the same record in his name.Kamboj is skilled red ball bowler and has done well in recently held duleep trophy, should get picked for A team

How do you know he did not realize whatever before? He is not the master of the universe. Batting lineup positions are not made by individuals. They are made by the captains and coaches. Blaming the player is useless.

If he had realized before, he could have been in contention for longer formats or could have made debut. Would always take his 33+ FC batting average 25+ bowling average then Vijay Shankar's 55 bowling average in FC, played as an allrounder. His 33+ average could have been in 40s if he batted at top order in FC. Offcourse captain & coaches are responsible, if he is not the master of universe at this age, he got to retire as domestic player only, he should give himself enough opportunity at 4/5 and share the new ball. Allrounders can only catch eye of a selector if he gets equal chance and perform in both category, which depends on captain & coaches.Utilization by category of a player matters, before throwing him out for being failure. At 7, batting with tail, scoring 30/40 he can't impress selectors. With Thakur not in the mix, he should see himself after N Reddy in longer format

Great to know you can read his mind to figure out what he has realized and what he has not. Great to know that everyone should just retire because they cannot control what others do. Such gems are what needs to be codified. I am so much more smarter now that I know these magical gems. Now, all I have to do is realize things and automatically I can control what others do. Never knew it was so easy but as they say it is better late than never.

I wonder why the sudden focus on Atith Seth. This week's Ranji game has been a rather poor one for him (made 9 batting at number 7 against Meghalaya, and didn't bowl). He did well in the last match, batting at number 4 to make 78. But he has otherwise been batting at number 6 or 7. He does have a very good bowling average of 25+, coupled with a decent batting average of 33+ in first class cricket. Sadly, he wasn't picked for the Irani Cup or Duleep Trophy despite that fine record.

No need to mock reality is crystal clear. Ravi Jadeja though he bats at n.o 6/7 for the national team, but he performed in domestic batting at 4 and as a main spinner for Saurastra beside D Jadeja. Their ex coach Mr. D Mitra could have done up & down with his batting position but indeed he supported him. Even Hardik with his IPL success realized he should bat at top order to put his name for India selection.Seth is a senior in that domestic set up he could definately do it if he wants to, but sadly he failed to do realize demand of allrounders in the team, whatever may be the reason. We can't criticize Seth's FC career as Nitish, Shankar, Dube also had poor average either in batting or bowling but IPL deal played an important role. If we check domestic records, Rishi Dhawan had the best FC record ( both with bat & ball) but his career got over with poor show in Australia tour

Ranji Trophy remaining fixtures gets postponed when there will be ideal condition for fast bowlers. Since IPL auctions are there, SMT has been arranged at the midway of Ranji. Thats how the board thinks of longest format and how to improve performances in SENA

The board does not think of doing well in SENA. They just think of making money.

The people in the board think of making money and gaining power. Without that, these things would not happen at random.

Good to see domestic teams are steadily going for separate squads in four dayers, one day & T20s. Certain individuals have made it clear that they will consider only T20s for their development

Great. Hope the selectors who weakened our ODI WC team by bringing in SkAY understand the nuances of the different formats better.
