Not sure if anyone is following SAS Championship on PGA Tour Champions which is being held in Cary, North Carolina, USA from Oct 13-15, 2023.
Several hours of play was washed out in the 2nd round due to heavy rainfall and play was ultimately suspended with a couple of players only able to finish 2 holes. Vijay Singh completed 4 holes and was trailing by 1 shot. 2nd round will resume on Sunday, and players will remain in the same groupings for the 3rd and final round.

Re: US PGA Tour 2022-23
Akshay Bhatia wins the Valero Texas Open for his first full field PGA tour victory. Get's him into the Masters and moves him into WR of #34.
This was also a wire-to-wire win even though it got very close in the end. He is still on trajectory to be among a generational great....

Sahith Theegala places 2nd in the $20mm RBC classic. He wins over $2.16MM and moves to a career high WR of 12. Akshay Bhatia also finishes a respectable T-18 and moves to his career high WR of 33.

Re: US PGA Tour 2022-23
Akshay Bhatia missed out on a great opportunity to win the tournament when he finished tied 2nd after missing a short putt to force playoff
Would he ever consider playing for india? He did not get shortlisted for US Olympic team
By the way, scottie scheffler has been winning left and right having already won 6 times in 2024 on PGA tour.

Re: US PGA Tour 2022-23
In the PGA tour championship finals of 2024 in which the top 30 players participate, Sahith Theegala finished 3rd with an overall -24 score (including a -3 start based on the season long Fedex Cup standings).
What is remarkable is that he called a self penalty for disturbing a few grains of sand on his backswing in a fairway bunker (where grounding of club is prohibited as it could ostensibly improves your lie). This disturbance was so minor that the TV cameras couldn't detect it and nor could anyone who was watching it live. Anyway, he was assessed a 2 stroke penalty which ended up preventing him from finishing T-2 with Morikawa (behind the winner Scheffler). The financial penalty for his self penalty was an astonishing $2.5MM!! His solo 3rd earned him $7.5MM (so still a big payoff) but the solo second was $12.5MM, so a T-2 would have netted him $2.5MM than what he won.
Also, without the penalty, he would have ended up with the best actual score in the tour finals at -23, better than Morikawa's -22, and considerably better than Scheffler's -20.
