Re: [Squash] Misc. Results for Indians ...
Not sure where to post this but at the recent World Junior Squash Championships, 14 year old Anahat Singh was the only Indian reaching the QF before losing against 3/4 seeded Fayrouz Abouelkheir of Egypt. She is the first 14-year-old to progress to the quarter-final since Marina Stefanoni in 2017. Egypt>>England and Malaysia continue to have awesome representation here. Pakistan had 2 boys seeded 1/2, of which top seeded Hamza Khan has made it to the SF.

Same story repeats in all sports for India. We seem to pretty much mentally accept a loss before the game even starts.Saffron Lenin wrote: ↑Sat Jun 17, 2023 3:17 pm Squash World Cup: India crash out in semi-finals India qualified for the semis as table toppers but fell short against the Malaysian challenge to finish as bronze medallists.

Crashing in semis is better than not qualifying for semis at all.Atithee wrote: ↑Sat Jun 17, 2023 3:48 pmSame story repeats in all sports for India.
