As I had posted earlier, Barry Richard's commentary during the Ind-SA test series was pathetic..and racist at times.
Looks like Gavaskar is the only person who has questioned Barry's way and publicly criticized him.

Much that I dislike Barry Richards and his racism, I think my hero Sunny is over-reacting a bit here. "Fragile Indians" constitutes stereotyping (perhaps even racial/national stereotyping) but I don't think it is a racist remark; we should look more carefully for a clearer racist taunt (and there have been many) and reprimand him for that rather than raise a relatively minor infraction like this one. Similarly, Gibbs' conviction (with a two-test ban) for evidently saying "bloody animals" about Pakistani spectators who were hurling abuses at Harris (and may have physically hurt Ntini earlier) looks a little harsh, in my opinion.
