Re: Mukund Sasikumar thread
Alright, Mukund, let's get an upset win here. Don't try to get Sasi to join. Let him sleep.

Mukund had a bad loss in Q1 of Porto challenger in Potugal against 889th ranked Sam Bebeek 62 36 57.
He needs to win these matches.

Re: Mukund Sasikumar thread
Yes fought well, but couldn't close it or stretch it longer.
Infact in S1 at 53 was serving to take the first set but lost 4 games in a row to lose the set , which is bit too common for him, to lose string of games after having being in the lead.

Loss after loss for all our players lately. Somebody get into form and have a run somewhere, please. This is just frustrating.

Re: Mukund Sasikumar thread
I caught up with Sasi yesterday after he won the local USTA tournament in my area yesterday against VSP. Sasi hopes to gain entry into the qualifying draw at Winston Salem. He is such a nice soft spoken person. He mom was also with him this week in Pennsylvania for the tournament.

Re: Mukund Sasikumar thread
He won the event (which was played with fast 4 format) beating Gulbis.
Here is an interview from earlier this week where he honestly talked about a drop in his level post covid.

Re: Mukund Sasikumar thread
Thanks for the update Vishal. That is great news that Mukund was able to beat a former top-10 player (who is still in top-200). The commentator was also saying that he was "whupping Gulbis" in the practice session he saw earlier today, so Mukund seems to have got some of his form back. That's good. But where is going to get to play next?
