Haha. I like those! Yeah, it is like those.jai_in_canada wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 4:26 amI missed out! Like Justin Truedope and Gavin Nuisance?jayakris wrote: And you missed the 300+ pages of fun in the Covid19 thread, and all the names I made for some of the bumbling buffoon state CMs we have
Ha, it's funny that you thought of him first, for "bumbling buffoon CMs"... My name for him was KaChaRa ... Comes from KAlvaguntla CHAndrasekara RAo. He was true garbage in the early months of Covid when he was trying to lie his way through it, and we all noticed that his nose had become even longer (he always had a Pinocchio-nose though). Anyway, KaChaRa did manage to get control of things, when he started getting a lot of Covid testing done in the state. Then I stopped criticizing him! What was your name for KCR of Telangana?

I don't think he deserves any credit for getting things under control! And he is definitely Pinocchio, but then so are politicians everywhere!

Bops/Paire face a tough challenge in Mahut/Herbert at the Miami Open. 41 year old Bopanna is on a 4 match R1 losing streak (5 including the mixed double) this year.

It's a nice song... Anand Bakshi is the real shayar. Alka Yagnik the singer, and MM Keeravani the music director (hence some slight S.Indian feel to the song).

RoBo Paire faced the music but it was no sweet welcome for them. Lost to a French pair. Mahut-Herbert won 6-3, 6-2. It was one and done do-re-mi in Miami.
Were they imPaired in some way? They'll need to rePaire before they desPaire.
P.S. I wonder if Benoit has a brother named Pierre. Pierre Paire, to-may-to/to-mah-to.

After the Bopanna-Paire pair lost to the French pair sans Paire, in the very next round, the other half of Mysore Pak extracted sweet revenge.
Qureshi-Kecmanovic d. Mahut-Herbert 4-6, 6-4, 10-3.
Why can't the Mysore Pak stick together instead of crumbling? What is the recipe missing?

Re: Rohan Bopanna thread...
Paire has been tanking the singles matches left and right and says he is there just to make money. Did he agree to put his full effort in a doubles match? RoBo needs to find a good, serious partner. One of the women's players, Errani of Italy?, said that the ATP should look into his tanking. I agree.

Re: Rohan Bopanna thread...
So, prasen, you think notre ami, Paire, was MIA in Miami? Very possible given his recent comments. I think it was Bartoli who questioned his motivation and suggested an ATP inquiry.
