The biggest concern, was how would Ram fare physically going into the match after 2 long 3 set matches, compared to fresh legs of Prajnesh, who had spent much lesser time on the courts.
But aided by post match massages and his endurance level survived another 3rd consecutive 3 set humdinger.
Played well to keep Prajnesh within a area, disallowing him lateral movements at the baseline which Prajnesh normally thrives on.
He is out of the dbls and thankfully can concentrate on the upcoming important matches.

So Stefan Kozlov will be in the semis.
H2H 1 all, but the first loss was on clay, in their last meeting , on HC's Ram prevailed in straight sets.

Stirring comeback victory for Ramkumar. Now, I hope he goes all the way to the title. Prajnesh's disappointing season continues: he was effectively the top-seed in this tournament.

NRI Govind Nanda is also in the semifinal -- in his very first pro tournament. That is impressive from the 20-year-old, who was playing college tennis for UCLA until recently (but only reached a college ranking of #10 in Feb 2020).

At next week's Lexington Challenger ,the trio of Prajnesh,Ram & Mukund once again figure in the line up.
Mukund although is 2nd out in the Alt's, should make it after SE spots are cleared and possibly some more withdrawals

Superb fighting comeback win by Ram and as PKB mentioned, Prajnesh's struggle continues.

6th Challenger Final for Ram.

Playing his 4th consecutive 3 setter ( Total 5 matches  incl dbls) Ram once again proved his high physical endurance level by winning in 3 sets, while his much younger opponent had no legs left in the deciding set.

Krueger it is in the Finals, won't be easy but fingers crossed for 4th time reversal against his opponent and that elusive Challenger Crown.

Terrific performance by Ramkumar to make yet another Challenger final with a 6-1 crushing of his opponent in the final set. I hope he can sustain this form and keep his nerve to win the title. The upswing that began in the grass season has taken a further curve upward at the start of the hardcourt season, and it would be perfect if he can crown it with his first Challenger title.

At Lexington next week, Prajnesh and Ram could well meet again in the 2nd round, if they win their R1 against Peter Polansky & Tung Ling Wu respectively.

Mukund as expected makes it into the MD and faces the experienced Canadian Brayden Schnur.

Nice run by RamK here and into another challenger final. He has moved up to 206 in live rankings. A title will take him back into top 200. A tough match awaits though against a player whom he he lost to recently at Newport on his favourite surface.

^^^ Are you able to see the match? The challengerTV page says the match hasn't started! The score is 6-7(4) 1-2, RamK serving

RamK dropped serve in the 4th game. Now it is 67(4) 14 and RamK is to serve. The scoreboard says "The physio has started a medical evaluation on Ramkumar Ramanathan"... :(

Deuces on RR's serve, but a second serve ace (!) gives him Ad-In and he holds. 67(4) 24
