Another good comeback win by Manish but Arjun lost his match.

At Pune ITF M15

[QF] (6) Manish Sureshkumar (IND,666) d. (Q) Henry Patten (GBR,1187) 36 76(3) 64

[QF] (7) Arjun Kadhe (IND,713) l. (4) Oliver Crawford (USA,576) 36 67(5)

Manish was down a break in the second set and Patten served for the match at 5-4 but Manish broke him which started his comeback much like yesterday.

But, he faces the tough American next.

[SF] (6) Manish Sureshkumar (IND,666) vs. (4) Oliver Crawford (USA,576)

Sorry, this guy is an American who plays for Great Britain or is that Gibraltar? Is Gibraltar, the British territory allowed to represent themselves separately? I know he used to play at U. Florida and was possibly from South Carolina. Certainly, American. But, what is GBR then? Gone broke? Great Big Rascal?

Good to see at least one Indian, Manish, make the singles SF this week. Arjun at least managed to fight on until the QF, where he lived up to his seeding. Arjun is also in the doubles final with his Swiss partner, Castelnuevo.

Zane Khan (USA, 643) is in her 3rd consecutive singles SF in this year's India Futures, where he will play Sweden's Jonathan Mridha. Zane was ranked #16 in the juniors two years ago (when he was 17, in January 2019), and was runner-up in the Orange Bowl in 2018. I believe he is Pakistani-American, although he apparently follows Vishnu and Vatsal's "Indian Tennis Daily". I wonder if Mridha also has some Indian roots.

Looks like his dad is from Bangladesh originally per this source.

So we have a Pakistani American and a Bangladeshi Swede playing the finals in India....

Zane Khan back to the finals. Clearly, he is playing a cut above all these guys.

Finally Zane Khan lost in this future series. Lost in the final 3-6, 0-6 against fellow American Crawford.

Arjun Kadhe won the double title along with his doubles partner.

Apparently, Yuki isn't playing in the Delhi Futures this coming week. Bizarre, as usual, with Yuki's scheduling.
