Re: Australian open 2019
Why is the scoreboard stuck at 6-5 even when the tie-break is on? It's the same on live stream as well as live-scores page on the website. Is anyone keeping track of the TB score? Please post. [Edit] Gunner loses the TB at 5 :( Something seriously wacky about the scoreboard (on both live stream and ...

Re: Davis Cup 2018 - India
No Leander at South Club, Calcutta? The crowd would make it an away match for India!! For the first time in many years, our best singles player is not only ranked high but has been preforming at or above his ranking consistently (if you excuse his loss today). The next best player, even though not ...

Looks like the new formula has mostly favored our players. They must all be happy with that!

Re: Leander Paes thread...
Seriously, I have not seen a player who loves playing more than LP. Even when he is down to the non-glamorous challenger tour, he keeps going. He is our "Challenger Bunny" :-) That is nothing but insane passion and pure love for Tennis. I can't think of any other world class athlete from ...

Re: Prajnesh Gunneswaran thread
He has 57 points to defend for rest of the year and only 12 in first quarter of next year. So, if he keeps up this form he can make a big surge towards top 100. He earned 65 points for the finals last week, so wouldn't that be enough to defend the 57 that would fall off in the next few weeks? - Varma

Re: ATP Tennis/Non-India Davis Cup
Zverev has been remarkably consistent for the past couple of years. His ranking fully justifies it. However, he needs to shoo away his mental daemons at the Grandslams. He got to do something about it...quicker the better. It took time for Coric to slowly make his way back after the mixed couple of ...

Re: ATP Tennis/Non-India Davis Cup
Tsitsipas wins his maiden ATP tile at Stockholm 500 to be the first Greek to win a pro Title. Of all the players in 19-21 age group, I like this fellow a lot. While a few others showed minor inconsistencies (Taifoe, Fritz, Rubulev), I think this kid has been showing remarkable cool and steady progre...

we may soon have 2 Top-100 singles players in him and RamK You have given up on Yuki :( .... Oh well, I can't disagree with you. I don't know if Yuki has yet another comeback in him.... Unfortunately so, Jay. Over the years I have realized it is better to keep zero expectations of Yuki. That way, w...

Re: October 2018 Challengers
Wow...what a show by Prajnesh who started the year at 243. He only has 51 points to defend for the rest of the year, but he already bagged 65 points this week. Every single point from here on will push his ranking upwards. If he can put up a strong show in the few remaining tournaments and work his ...

It clearly looks like a case of opponent being under-ranked. Otherwise, I don't see Ankita losing with that scoreline to an opponent closer to her in ranking.

Re: WTA125Ks - Mumbai (Oct 29th), Taipei (Nov 11th)
It will wonderful if Pranjala gets a favorable draw and get a couple of wins under her belt. Would that be enough to put her in a good standing for an Australian Open qualies spot?
