Re: $54(+H) Pune Challenger, November 11-18,2019

But these lower level tournaments have much tougher fields in the US. However, they have easier fields available closer in Mexico and other Central/South American countries that are on par with Indian Challengers/Futures. For most of them it wouldn't make sense to travel all the way to India playing...

Re: European Masters and ATP Tournaments 2019

Quite a winnable R2 match for Bops & Shapo. I would give Sharan-Sitak duo a 50-50 chance against the experienced French pair. It will be awesome if both our teams can make it to R3.

Re: Denmark Open/ French open 2019 (BWF Super 750)

Yes!!! These are the kind of wins I am expecting this duo to get. I like the way the are slowly making their progress upwards; augurs very well for next year's Olympics. Satwik is still 19 and Chirag is just a tad older at 22. They might well be our first pair to reach the pinnacle of doubles in Bad...

Re: General Olympic Sports News

This past weekend I was on a day long hike in the local mountains where I met a group of young Ukranians. The three of them must be no older than 30. Throughout the trail we kept running into each other several times, mostly while taking short breaks. During one of those casual chats I brought up th...

Re: India in West Indies 2019

Ishant has become my BFF in a matter of two tests! That’s what I’ve been dreaming of for so many years. Attaboy! I haven't been following this test closely. I only saw the scores today. When I read 57 against Ishant's name, I immediately thought about you and all your sermons to him...I am not kidd...

Re: Preparing for Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Back in my hometown, a friend of mine runs a small business that employs about 15 people. He is very religious about running it by the book such as paying PF and ESI for every single employee, including the sweeper and the office boy. When I was there a couple of months ago, he had to hire 4 people....

Re: Preparing for Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Don't know what to say. Wanted that stupid article 370 to be gone. Not sure what is in store, though, so I am kinda silent. Want to celebrate but also not confident enough to do that.... Gotta say... Right or wrong, this PM just does stuff that a lot of us have always wanted, but never thought woul...

RamK plays #145 Sergiy Stakhovsky of Ukraine. Not a bad draw, I guess!

Allison seems to the queen of 3 setters. All her matches thus far have gone full length. Three of them were against seeded players with her R4 victory coming against the top seed, Barty. R1 - Allison Riske (USA, 55) d. (22) Donna Vekic (CRO, 22) 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 R2 - Allison Riske (USA, 55) d. Ivana Jo...

Yes, it will be a huge upset if Sumit can win tomorrow's battle against Klizan and the crowd. With the consistency he has been showing of late, an upset has to happen one of these days, so why not tomorrow? :D

Re: US Claycourt Challengers, April 2019

Good to see Sumit not losing temper after letting go opportunities to close it out earlier. I am glad he is coming back to form slowly but surely and showing the fighting qualities that once were his trademark. This win should boost his confidence enough and get him back to winning ways consistently...

Ha..ha..that's a nice observation, Jay !

By the way, I think "Pasha" and "Basha" are derivatives of "Badhshah"
