Now, what is up with Rupesh lately?? .. Sanam must be bothered by something - hope not another bout of injury or illness like he has had many times in his junior creer. Jeevan seems to have come back to life though. Two good wins.

Yes Rupesh looks stagnant around same ranking for long time ... Lets hope soon he took required actions to remove flaws from his game.

Sanam must had one of bad match ... With his doubles performance he will be back on track from next tournament ... Nice to see Jeevan's performance ... Go Jeevan.

Jeevan loses SF to Dennis Lajola by 3-6, 7-5, 6-3. However, Jeevan and Sanam fight their way into the doubles final with a three set win.

Jeevan-Sanam won the doubles title winning the final 6-4, 6-2.

So, reasonably good week for Jeevan. They 3 more weeks in East Asian circuit ending with Asian junior champioships. Hope Jeevan conities his good work & Sanam/ Rupesh do better in singles.

Sorry I missed the fact that these kids were in my neck of the woods.

Sanam's sudden slump is worrying, and probably has something to do with health issues. Good to see Jeevan coming good.

Compared to Jeevan's performance at the beginning of the year, this may be little better.. But he is still losing to players ranked below him, which is not good..

Sanam Singh of won 62 67(6) 60 win over Agung Dewantoro of Indonesia, to reach the third round against No. 15 Rasmus Moller of Denmark, according to a Manila newspaper.

Peraklat Siriluethaiwattana and Joel Linder have won according to newspapers - so I think Rupesh and Jeevan went down in the R2. Yeek!

Nice to see a good run in a Grade I tourney by Jeevan and Sanam. It has been a while though.
Does anyone know why Sanam's recent performances have gone down after winning the Futures in India few months ago?

I am suspecting that Sanam is/was down with some health issue. He has had some nagging injuries or illnesses, off and on during his junior career. Perhaps something is/was bugging him the last few weeks.

Good to see that the Manila newspaper was wrong and Jeevan did win the R2. Tough comeback from the brink, it seems.

According to Manila Times (Friday edition)

[R3] (8) Stefanie Voegele (SUI) d. (12) Sandhya Nagaraj (IND), 6-3, 6-4.
[R3] (1) Sanam Singh (IND,5) d. (15) Rasmus Moller (DEN,73), 6-1, 6-3
[R3] (4) Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan (IND,17) d. (16) Jiri Kosler (CZE,71), score not known.

So Jeevan and Sanam are in the QFs now.

Nice to see Sanam and Jeevan continue with their good performance in Manila ... Rupesh's form is worrying .. Hopefully sooner than later he will took some decisive action about missing aspects from his game.
