Absolutely! Keothavong was in the Hampstead main draw and just lost against the Wrexham-runner up. Radhika had very bad luck to run into this French Julie Coin girl who also beat Sanaa in the main draw semis.... Nice to see Radhika in the main draw.

Yeah Dan. I am so sad about Rushmi losing again. It must be so hard for her to take these early losses. At least she put up some fight. Shruti may be still injured, I assume.

This Shilpa Joshi from the US is making me at least keep a minor eye on her. She is actually pulling off some decent wins lately, qualifying into theVancouver challenger 2 weeks back and all. Hope she turns into a Shikha. Shilpa is 21 years old. She is from Palos Verdes down here in Southern California. Played for 2 years 2002 fall till 2004 summer with UCLA. Only played at the #6 spot rather irregularly. One top-100 win in college, that's it. Left college after 2 years and went pro last fall, lost a bunch of matches all over the world, and has now started winning some. We will keep an eye on her.
