Lester Cook is a really good player. My dark horse pick there, along with of course Karan.

Yes surprising absentees of Ajay, Uppal and Kannan ... R they playing somewhere else at that time??? Harh should use this opportunity to gain some points and winner cheque ... For me dangerous players in Indian conditions r Aqueel Khan and Norikazu Sugiyama ... But offcourse with Harsh, Karan is my hot pick ... :)

My news is that Rohan is planning to restart in Feb 2005 - even though he will start practice / training in Jan.

Great SRAMU ... That means Rohan's rehab already begins ... It would be interesting to see his progress after so long lay off from professional tennis.

I think some of the players goofed as there was Christmas week in between and the entry deadline was one week earlier than usual. Now they have to look for wild cards or play qualies.

Ajay, Vishal Uppal, Vinod Sridhar, Mustafa all seem to have missed the deadline or something. It's ridiculous that they are missing this event. Especially Ajay, as he seems to be in terrific form at the moment.
Nice opportunity for Karan to pick up some points before the Rotterdam qualifiers.

I am sure they would have asked for wild cards or they will play qualies. As said earlier, they must have missed because of change in entry deadline.

It's good that this is a 15K event. I hope they'll make it a $15K+H event, and boost the players point-possibilities further...

On current form, I would think Harsh is the one to beat at this tournament.
