Hope this is a breakout tournament for Shubhankar Sharma! He along with Rayhan Thomas appear to be the most promising younger Indian golfers...

Solid play from Anirban at the end of the 4th round where he birdied holes 15 and 18 enabled him to move up to T5. Amazing to see him finish so high after a disastrous R1 and R2. SSP, on the other hand, coasted to a win as most of the top 10 finishers finished with par or sub-par rounds.

Congrats to SSP for another win! Pretty amazing that he now has 4 win on the Epga tour although I think that all 4 have been in India perhaps even this very tournament. Anirban also I think had the best score in the final 2 rounds to get a top 5 finish....

Congrats to SSP, and good to see Anirban stay consistent.
Now for SSP to perform similarly outside India...

Yes, SSP needs to score some points (any points) in his other tournaments. Since his Indian Open win last year, he has non-zero points in only 4 events including the two bookend Indian Open wins. One of the others is also a win on the Asian tour in Manila but he has only 4 non-zero point tournaments total over the last 12 months....

All of SSP's EPGA wins have been at home in India and he has only won the one tournament outside India in Manila last year.
