european union is a list of european countries joined together and has a single visa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Union_visa_lists) with which a person can travel to any of union countries without any passport checking in borders..

knowing this..and also knowing that every other week in a year a tennis futures tournament happens in these countries..why no indian player is playing..

is it because of financial reasons..or is it because visa is denied for some reasons..may be they dont want us to compete and win..!

this visa is for 3 whole months..that will be 9 tournaments atleast..

any other country (excluding usa ie before us open) has only 3 tournaments max in a row..

what do ya guys think..!

In reply to your question, the main reason is cost. Europe is a costly place to travel and stay for our players. Players have tried to play the Futures tour in Europe in the past with success. It is a tough road to travel as the competition is stiff. All in all various factors go into determining the schedule.

i just had a few ideas to cut costs..

1. no eat out in restaurants..make ur own food..yes start with a simple boiled egg now..
being non-vegetarian helps a lot here as protein source..
2. no tour..be inside ur 4 walls of hostel room bothering ur neighbours doing push ups/sit ups/crunches..3. no buying souvenirs for family, friends..
4. not thinking too much about money but only when it is time to spend them..

any one with better ideas..
