Wow, this is the second time someone has asked about tennis facilities in Nagpur (which used to be the headquarters of one branch of the Bhonsle rajas -- descendents of Shivaji (the others being based in Satara and Thanjavur) -- and also the capital of the erstwhile state of Central Provinces).

You should try to contact the following club, who will probably be quite happy to offer you a temporary membership for a month or so to use their club facilities:

Central Provinces Club Nagpur Ltd
Civil Lines,
Nagpur-440001

Tel: 540341/42/43
Fax: 540344

There is another thread on this subject, btw...

CP club is a very good facility. They have 6 clay courts and were building 2 hard courts. There may be some other privately organized/pooled clubs/places which do not cost as much as CP club (if you are not looking for lessons and drills). However, I had a good couple of weeks there last year. The coach/manager of their tennis operations is Mr. Santosh Chatterjee. He's a very good coach who knows his craft well. The monthly membership fee is Rs. 900/-, plus you might have to pay extra for lessons and drills.
