Gawd! It is getting harder to enjoy even a "beedi" now let alone a Wills, Panama, or a Capstan cigarette. Regular cigars are out of reach and Cubans seem to be stuff of dreams. I might have to resort to the candy cigars that are routinely distributed around the office in celebration of baby births. At my age, even that seems difficult now as my close friends and office mates are done having babies. I guess I've to hire some young ones or coax my boss into the same because I really want that cigar.

Where is the WTATourCoach? Let us hear from him. What's ailing Sunitha? I promise not to question his assertions.

Sunitha is playing at $25K Rancho Mirage in both singles and doubles. Her singles opponent is yet to be decided (qualifier) while she is partnering Pelletier of Canada in doubles and will be playing Gibbs/Tan of USA (wild card entrants) in the first round. Go Sunitha

Do we know if Sunitha has changed the coach or is she still with the WTATourCoach? Her recent results are not good and I wonder if she has adequate support to cope up with not only these losses, but also the passport controversy.

This is a real bad loss for Sunitha. Elena Pioppo was certainly beatable but instead Sunitha lost without even a fight.

By the way, among the 8 quarter finalists at Rancho Mirage, 5 are qualifiers!!! And only one seed is left in the draw. Amazing number of upsets.
