Nice picture of Prakash with Mardy Fish.

From one of his tweets, sounds like he is going to play in Nottingham next.

If viewed alone, PA would seem to have a nicely toned body; being next to Mardy, he looks slightly chubby, especially the existence of a bit of the love handles!! And what's with that collar around PA's neck. That and the pose makes this picture look creepy

Good to know that Prakash will resume competing at Nottingham, implying a full grass season -- hopefully including qualifiers at Wimbledon!

Very difficult for him to make cut for Wimbledon qualies with his current ranking. The cut normally is around 250 & Prakash is currently ranked outside 300.

If he is indeed planning to play at Nottingham, he will have to play qualifiers in singles (and the draw will be pretty strong even for that); singles qualifiers start on Sunday. I would love to see the Rajeev Ram doubles partnership continue though (he is in the singles draw there). I suspect that Rajeev-Prakash will be playing both the Nottingham Challengers as a pair, since Rajeev is now bereft of a regular partner (having been ditched by Bopanna earlier in the year). He partnered Benjamin Becker in a Challenger (and lost in the SF to Divij/Purav), and then paired with Prakash to win a Challenger doubles title (beating Purav/Divij comfortably in the final). On grass, Rajeev-Prakash should be a formidable pair!

what makes you say that ? Did Rajeev said that in an interview or something ?

He doesn't need to say it. We can use our eyes to see that Bopanna-Ram had paired up late last year, and were expected to play together all of this year. Now Bopanna has moved back to his old partner Bhupathi, so Bopanna has obviously ditched Rajeev Ram to do that...

Thanks,Slice for posting in proper format. This news was already posted in Prakash's thread. We can discuss it there as this thread about Nottingham challangers & we can continue to discuss Somdev, Divij,Purav in second week here.

If Prakash qualifies for main draw at Queens , we can open a thread for that as Rohan is also qualifying & Rohan/Mahesh will be in doubles.

He was probably better off trying his luck at Halle, with a much weaker qualifying field and the same number of points.
