I just checked for other players from J200 Chandigarh and it seem Ivanisevic Jr’s QF points are also not calculated into top-6:

Does ITF-j rankings count best points across all surfaces?

^^^ Yes, that is quite strange. I see for other players like winner and runner up in that Chandigarh tournaments, not checked for other players but why have they excluded points only for Arjun and Ivanisevic ? Have they only made a mistake or there is some reason for this ? Hard to say.

Just to update, I got in touch with Arjun who was also aware of it and confirmed that it had to be a mistake. He then emailed ITF (and AITA) and heard back yesterday that it was some system error. ITF said it will be corrected in next week's ranking. So, all is well. (Thanks go to Vishnu for putting me in touch with Arjun!)

Arjun has withdrawn from next week's J200 at Cairo but will play the week after at the Cairo J500 where he has made the main draw. I think Arnav and Hitesh will also be in the MD there.

Good. Thanks for that initiative. With those extra 26 points he will move at or around #100.

I checked and last year's FO juniors qualifying cut off was quite high at #95. If it remains the same, Arjun will need to get a few more points to make sure he gets in. He has a couple of months of course where he can do that.

Meanwhile, we had an ITF J60 in Indore this week... Nothing too susprising, or exciting there. The top two seeds reached the finals in both the boy's and girls draws, the second seeds upsetting the first seeds. It was an Indian affair, with only 2 Indian-origin girls joining from Singapore and USA, and one Indian-origin boy joining from Australia. No shocking firework upsets in the draws or anything either.

The boys' title went to 16 yr old 2nd seed Praneel Sharma who beat the 16 yr old top seed Samarth Sahita... Boys' draw/results

The girls' title went to 17 yr old 2nd seed Harshini Nagaraj who beat the 15 yr old top seed Diya Sharma... Girls' draw/results

Ok, now Arjun' Rathi's 36 points from Chandigarh are duly restored to his points tally and he is now ranked #103. Perhaps, needs one decent tournament to make sure of grand slam qualies now.
