My best travel experiences have been in Africa and I have falled in love with that continent. Sub-saharan Africa. Perhaps our generation is the last to see some majestic landscapes and animals and people in this heartland of mankind. The best animal viewing, of course, was in Serengeti National Park. The migration is awesome but I just love the big cats.

Anyway, I am looking forward to going back the entire month of September. I am going to do a Safari Guide Course in a camp in Mashatu Game Reserve in Botswana. Far away from mankind. And, perhaps will not have internet for a month living in a tent.

I would love to hear about your best travel experiences, don't miss destination advice, etc. Please share.

p.s. Kumar, btw, Tanzania is safe (relatively speaking, like all places you need to study up what is safe when and where and not). But, the best person to ask would be our own Suresh. I think he taught a semester in IITM Zanzibar campus.

Yes, that will be great. I changed the title for the thread for this post but that will not be permanent. A moderator please add Foreign or World or something like that to indicate non-India travel. Thanks Kumar for the very kind words.
