^^^ Rithvik never played singles on pro tour. He was decent in singles in juniors but went to US college at 17 and than disappeared from singles. Did not hear much about him in college tennis but came back and straightway became a doubles specialist.

Along with Niki Poonacha, formed a formidable pairing on ITF circuit and they won as many as 8 titles together on ITF tour. However, last year they started on challenger tour with different partners and won their first challenger doubles titles with different partners.

This year they joined back together and have had a great start to the season- reached a couple of challenger finals first and now 2 challenger titles. Rithvik is only 23 and is already getting close to top 100 in ATP doubles rankings. So, if he continues this can have a long career in doubles on ATP tour.

Sahaja and Shrivalli will be playing in a few ITF tournaments in the US starting this week.

For the first week in Charlottesville, Sahaja has made the main draw direct acceptance while Shrivalli will have to play in the qualifying draw. I believe this is Shrivalli’s first time playing in the US. Here is hoping both of them have a successful US trip. :goodluck:
