This is the type of thing that causes civil wars. When one part of the country loots tax money from the other parts. I am complaining because Victoria is smart. We don't have infrastructure for our sick. We don't have infrastructure for our kids to go to school. But, we will have money to subsidize entertainment for the rich ... and the middle class if you will. The cost will be $6-7 billion and the impact will be maybe $1 billion. This is a money loser. That is why Victoria backed out.

Lenin was a revolutionary, political theorist, etc. His policies and thinking was wrong. But, he led people to try a political experiment, which in hindsight failed. Rajiv Gandhi is none of that. He is an opportunist. All he wants is power and money for his family, etc. No ideals beyond that. In short, Rajiv is no Lenin.

After 2026 CWG, ‘preferred host’ for 2030 Games withdraws bid
