On the mens side, Prannoy has shown the ability to win the bigger matches. So, I'd hope that he qualifies and hopefully in the top 8. Lakshya would be next best bet if he makes it into the top 16. I think Srikanth is past his prime (and hence has a pretty low ceiling) while the younger players aren't good enough yet even if they can produce a decent performance here and there.
Of course, SatChi and Sindhu probably remain our two best bets for an Olympic medal or two!

Prannoy lost in the QF to 16th ranked Angus from Hongkong 19-21 8-21. That is surprising scoreline against someone whom Prannoy had beaten last week itself and in straight games too. Looks like tiredness crept in after playing 3-4 tournaments at a stretch.
