I watched parts of that AniVijay loss. They missed at least 3-4 match points in that match and lost all advantage they had.

[R1] (3) Anirudh Chandrashekhar (IND)/ Vijay Sunder Prashant (IND) l. (WC) Jea Moon Lee (KOR) /Woobin Shin (KOR) 75 67(7) 8-10

[R1[ Arjun Kadhe (IND)/ Jisung Nam (KOR) d. (1) Andrew Harris (AUS)/ John-Patrick Smith (AUS) 64 62

Arjun and Nam lost to same top seeded pair in match tie break last week. But, now beat them in straight sets.

They now meet another wild card pair.

[QF] Arjun Kadhe (IND)/ Jisung Nam (KOR) vs. (WC) Jaesung Choe (KOR) /Uisung Park (KOR)

Arjun and Nam lost in SF in a close match.

[SF] Arjun Kadhe (IND)/ Jisung Nam (KOR) l. (4) Max Purcell (AUS) / Rubin Statham (NZL) 46 64 8-10

So, 3 semi finals in 3 weeks here in Korea for Arjun. He is now #123 in live rankings, a new career high. Arjun has1 title, 2 finals and 5 semi finals this year so far which is very good consistency. If he can convert some of those SF's into title, he can move into top 100 and more.

Mighty close loss to one-half of the Wimbledon doubles champion pair. Purcell is only playing Challengers because he and Ebden got no ATP points for their Wimbledon title. What a travesty!

He is playing Challengers because he wants to prioritize singles over doubles

Yes, I know that, but if he had been ranked around 10th in the world after winning Wimbledon (as he would have been, given that his doubles ranking was 25 in April 2022), he would have played many more top-level doubles events (including Masters) simply because he would have made far more money doing so. Now, he has slowly inched his way back up to 87 in singles, and he is ranked 54 in doubles after winning 3 Challenger and 1 ATP250 doubles title in 2023.
