And he breaks at 15 to take the set and the match. What a comeback from 1-3 down and losing 7 straight games.

Meanwhile Ram opts for clay over grass and has made the quali cut at Heilibron.

More than the singles it his dbls pairing with Nenad which seems to be a good turning point as the Serbian in a mentoring role has been saying the right things to Ram.

Sumit is 223 in live rankings. Getting closer and closer to ensure that he gets into all challenger main draws. Just win the next 2 matches and he does not have to bother about playing qualies at all.

At Troisdorf Challenger 75, Germany (Clay)

[SF] (LL) Sumit Nagal (IND,254) vs. Frederico Ferreira Silva (POR,230)

Ferreira Silva had one good week when he reached FO qualifying final last week. So, he seems to have run into form. Hope Sumit takes care of him though.

Where does he need to be to get into the Qualies for grand slams?
And where does he need to be to get direct entry to grand slams?

I’m hoping he wins the title here and then skips next week to recover from 6 matches in a week. :goodluck:

Inside 240 for qualies. Inside top 100 for main draw.

Why a break? This is the business end of the season and when you are in a good playing form why disturb that rhythm, 2/3 months during the peak season one should go at it, plus he had a long break 4/5 weeks ago.And told Ram and he listened religiously and did play for long stretches with a great deal of sucess too when his form was good, so a player needs to maximize the returns when you are playing well and not to disrupt it with a break during peak season

And his today' opponent Fredrico Silva, have seen him play on couple of occasions and is compitative player, playing well above his ability many a times with great tenacity and focus.

Sumit will have to be at Total best and put out his A game to overcome the Portuguese.
