Excited by this win by RamK! Certainly getting over the final hurdle is huge!
Particularly excited to hear that he is hitting his backhand now (presumably with topspin) rather than mostly slicing them. I think this is the greatest area for improvement for him and if he can continue hitting his backhand, there is no reason that he can't play at a top 100 level especially on the hard courts (and we know he can do so on grass).

In the many brief video clips of the match I saw, Ramkumar was hitting consistent top-spin backhands -- almost never slicing. Opponents were attacking his backhand, but he had no real trouble with hitting it back. This is a HUGE change, and bodes very well for his prospects in 2022.
