Re: 2021 European Tour
Shubhankar is having a tough time putting together 4 good rounds to get a good finish. At least he seems to be mostly making cuts these days....

Re: 2021 European Tour
Congrats to Shubhankar on his best points and money finish for the 2021 European tour season. He is now 104th in the Race to Dubai rankings and appears to be safe with his European tour card based on the rankings. Gaganjeet Bhullar is however outside the 125th position, so needs a couple of strong finished to retain his card....

Re: 2021 European Tour
Excellent finish by Subhankar..
Usually he was doing well in initial rounds and finished poorly.
Reversed the trend here and kept improving his position in this prestigious European Tour event.
Secures his European Tour card for next year. Only Indian player to have done it so far…
Gaganjeet has been missing from action for last few weeks and SSP/Ajitesh are getting limited starts which they are yet to capitalise.
in the remaining events..

Re: 2021 European Tour
Yes, this looks like an excellent week for Shubhankar. He seems to be doing well in last 2-3 weeks. I am not sure how his world ranking is so low outside top 300 ( I think just entered top 300 after this week). I have not really followed golf in depth and certainly not ranking. For those who do, what level these European tour events are compared to say Tennis. I suppose they are at least of lower level ATP tour events, much better than challengers. In that case based on those top 10- top 20 finished among 100-150 participants, would he not be moving up faster up the rankings ?
