Re: Asian Tour 2020
Veer Ahlawat and Shiv Kapur did well to finish in top 10.
Veer finished T5 and Shiv T9 to finish the long 2020/2021 season.
Asian Tour just had 8 events in 2020/2021 including 2 in 2022…One of the worst affected Golf Tour in the world.
Hope they get back to normalcy this year.
On a sad note, Veer had a double bogey/bogey finish in last 2 holes to finish T5.
He was T2 till then and the top 4 qualified for The Open….what an opportunity missed..

Re: Asian Tour 2020
Indian golf is in a funk. We no longer have anyone in the Asian Tour top 10! We use to win and/or have a couple in the top 10 with regularity.

Re: Asian Tour 2020
The player to watch out for is Veer Ahlawat. Saw him a couple of times on golf channel and he has a very smooth and coordinated swing for his 6'4" frame. I think he is a little bit of a late starter but likely has a pretty high ceiling if he takes a step up this year.

Re: Asian Tour 2020
Agree…but also note that 2020 and 2021 hardly had much play.
No events in India due to Covid.
Players find it difficult to travel for just a week or two weeks play with isolation rules etc.
So, we should be ok if the full season is resumed.
Players like Veer, Rashid, Ajeetesh, Adil, Chikka, Kshitij, Gaganjeet, SSP, Shiv etc. will surely challenge for top 10 or 20…
