That is the fourth semifinal of the year for Mirza/Hradecka. They made the final in Charleston, and made SFs in Qatar, Dubai and now Rome (Italian Open). Very impressive run for Sania, and she is now in the top-30 in the individual doubles rankings, and sure to be seeded at the FO and Wimbledon (and, very likely at the US Open too). What an impressive farewell year on tour it's turning out to be!

Since Nobody is posting the Scores of Sania
Let me post Some
in WTA ROME 2022 SF, They lost badly to Dabrowski/Olmos 1-6 2-6, Scoreline was very one sided but match was not, Our Team is just not serving well and not playing big points better

To Get More Matches on Red Clay, Mirza/Hradecka had entered WTA Strasbourg to work more on their Serves and Returns, They already are in not Semifinals of that Tournament, Sania is playing her 6th SF of the season, Already She is Ranked 28 in the Doubles, She clearly is the best player of India Right Now

Scores of Strasbourg Are

R1
Mirza/Hradecka(1) bt Milalikova/Kichenok 3-6 6-3 10-8( Was down 3-6,5-7,6-8 in Super Tie breaker)
QF
Mirza/Hradecka(1) bt Olaru/Kichenok 6-3 7-6(4)

Mirza/Hradecka narrowly escaped Round 1 as they were down 3-6 0-2 in Round 1, They played much better in QF but Serve of Both our players is the biggest concern

In Semifinals They will play Christian/Morozava , On Paper Mirza/Hradecka should win it
:goodluck: Sania

At the $2,697,250 Toronto WTA (National Bank Open presented by Rogers),

[R1] Madison Keys (USA)/ Sania Mirza (IND) d. Alize Cornet (FRA)/ Jil Teichmann (SUI), 64 36 [10-6]

Now they run into the top seeds...

[R2] Madison Keys (USA)/ Sania Mirza (IND) vs (1) Veronika Kudermetova (RUS)/ Elise Mertens (BEL)

Sensational win takes them through to the QF:

[R2] Madison Keys (USA)/ Sania Mirza (IND) d. (1) Veronika Kudermetova (RUS)/ Elise Mertens (BEL) 36 64 10-8

Which brings up:

[QF] Sania Mirza (IND)/Madison Keys (USA) vs. Sofia Kenin (USA)/Yulia Putintseva (UKR)

It is really amazing that, even in her final months on the WTA tour, Sania is still competing against (and frequently beating) some of the best singles and doubles players in the world. Beating the top seeds here meant her first-ever win against Kudermetova, I think.

At the $2,697,250 Toronto WTA (National Bank Open presented by Rogers),

[QF] Sania Mirza (IND)/ Madison Keys (USA) d. Sofia Kenin (USA)/ Yulia Putintseva (KAZ), 75 36 [10-6]

They were down 3-5 but came back to force two breaks and take the first set. They were up a break early, but then dropped two service games and the second set... Took the STB without much problems, though! So, a very good run so far at Toronto. Up next tomorrow,

[SF] Sania Mirza (IND)/ Madison Keys (USA) vs (3) Coco Gauff (USA)/ Jessica Pegula(USA)

Haha, PKB... I just noticed that, and took a double-take. I mean, if she is doing "seva" to Putin, she can't be from Ukraine!! ... :D

I mean, that is like calling her partner Sofia Lenin (USA) :D

(Yulia plays for Kazakhstan, by the way, though she was born in Moscow!)

Brilliant, Jay :D

Putin-seva could do little against Sania in the QF's STB though...

^^^ Well, the delicious match did not happen. Raducanu/Rybakina got replaced...

At WTA1000, Cincinnati (hard)

[R1] L. Hradecka (CZE)/ S. Mirza (IND) d. C. Garcia (FRA)/ P. Martic (CRO), 16 63 (11-9)

Topsy-turvy match. Our pair were down 0-5 in now time, and then down a break at 1-6 1-2... They then went on a run with 2 breaks to take it to the STB... It has been very tight in the STB so far. 6-6. And the match is suspended. Not sure why. Rain? ... EDIT: They came back an hour later and our ladies won it! Yet another match with 2 sets of warmup and an STB match :)
