Guys, I give up. I had a bunch of things to do at work today... but the hockey win has got me so excited that I can't get any work done. Like in the video above, no bronze ever gets celebrated like this. This is close to how I felt in 1996, seeing an individual win a medal for the first time in my life. I am still sorta over the moon. Damnit, my grad students' journal papers can get submitted a day late. I should keep my priorities right. Chakde Ladies come up soon. I will make some more chai and enjoy the day in the comfort of my lungi...

India needs to defend but also be somewhat aggressive. What happens is when a team equalizes, they sort of have the momentum and there is very little time to manufacture another goal. So, we need to play the game almost as if it is tied with a bit more emphasis on defence for the second half.

And, it is so good to have Florian back. Only for that reason, India should win more.
