Brilliant service return fells Sock. 30-15. But he wins the next point with a fine cross court. 4-1

Yuki is being outclassed completely at the moment.

Fabulous play by Yuki (set up by excellent service returns) makes it 15-40. Then a magnificent rally is won by Yuki with a terrific backhand down the line. Breaks back at 15. 3-4.

Just started watching and Yuki immediately breaks back.

SKS has been a lucky charm for Yuki so far; let's see how PKB and I go :D

Terrific point by Yuki, ends with a fine volley. 15-all.
Sock takes the next two points. 40-15. And wins the set 6-3.

Yuki's serving remains a major weakness. And his forehand has been somewhat unreliable today, as the commentators point out.

Very sluggish play. At least he holds after saving the bp to begin set 2.

87mph first serve from Yuki :puke:

And now broken after a double fault.

This is a significantly inferior player to the one that I saw against Pouille or Monfils or even Shova. Serving very weakly and can't handle the spin.

Need to come in more. If he stays back this is only going to end in one result. The slice from JS's back hand is being made to look a lethal shot.
