He is entered in singes qualies and in doubles with RamK for Japan challenger next week.

Ah, I forgot about the national games. Great to see that he will be playing with RamK. He and RamK has played together once or twice before, but both need some sort of regular partners, and could try again if they will click. They may.

As mentioned yesterday, Arjun's singles exploits haven't been noticed and today once again he scalps another Chinese L Xiao in 3 sets 57 , 75 , 63 to qualify for the Shanghai Challeger MD.
Terrific display by Arjun who is out of singles play , to record these back to back wins over the 2 Chinese.

^^^ I had noticed, but ran out of time to find post it here, as I am in India and was traveling. Actually, I needed to figure out if a thread needed to be started for China challengers.

This was some great stuff from Arjun! Two young Chinese guys ranked #732 and #928 who are doing well on the tour (not some washed out doubles guys who took a spot or anything) upset by him in clutch 3-set matches. Arjun showed that he is no washed out doubles guy either, I guess ...

The scores are in the Shanghai Challengers page, whicb is now started as Mukund is also in the main draw there, as an ALT.

Before last 2 weeks, Arjun was about to drop altogether from single ranking list as he had 0 points from 5 challenger events this year and nothing from last year. Now suddenly he has 16 points from 2 weeks and will be upto 900's in rankings from just 2 weeks.

What is a 53rd ranked player doing in challengers ? Otherwise, in this form we could have expected Arjun to pull off at least 1 more win.

^^^ There are no ATP tournaments this week and Christopher is not part of Aussie’s DC team. And he’s supposed to play in a 250 tournament next week in China. So makes sense to stick around.

Still a good run in Singles by Arjun in these 2 weeks. He is still alive in doubles this week and is in QF.

Good to see that Arjun is pairing up with Aisam Qureshi in the main draw of the ATP Zhuhai next week. At 113 in the doubles rankings, Arjun needs a couple of breakthroughs to make the top-100.

This week, Arjun is partnering Marcus Willis (the guy who, ranked around 770 and close to ending his career, played six rounds of qualifiers at Wimbledon, made the main draw, won a round, and then got to play Federer on Centre Court in 2016; the next year, he made the last-16 in doubles at Wimbledon). They are playing a Challenger in Portugal, easily beat a Portuguese pair in R1, got a walkover from a Brazil/Portugal pair in the QF and hence are through to the SF.

As a result, Arjun Kadhe has broken into the top-100 in doubles for the first time -- and now sits at a new career-high of 99. (Saketh has slipped to 101, Jeevan to 110, so the number of Indians in the top-100 of doubles has not improved).
