2017-18 season of the PGA Tour has already started last week. This week Anirban Lahiri and SSP are playing at the CIMB Classic.

Good start by Anirban Lahiri, he had 6 birdies and a bogey today.
Last year Anirban finished T3.

Last year, he led by 4 going into the final round and had one of the worst collapses.

This is one of his favourite courses and probably his best chance to win on the PGA tour (even though the tournament is in Asia).

Anirban Lahiri had a bogey free 8 under par round today and has moved to 6th place and 9 shots behind the leader Pat Perez.

With 4 birdies and 3 bogeys, Anirban had a 1 under par final round and has finished T10.

Anirban wins $175K and is 25th in the early days of the 2018 PGA tour. Good start but not as good as last year when he finished T-3 in this event.

Always good to start the PGA tour year in Malaysia!

At the inaugural CJ Cup in Korea, Anirban Lahiri had a 3 under par Round 1 score and is tied for 20th position.

1 under today in tough conditions; T10 and 2 shots behind as it stands currently.

After end of Round 2, Anirban has finished T15 and 5 shots behind the leader.

Anirban keeping himself in contention in R3; shared lead for a bit but now 2 shots behind.

T3 and 2 shots behind heading into the final round; very tight field and there will be a lot of final day movement with playing conditions tough.

Hope Anirban can stay solid and have a strong finish. This is a new tournament with very high prize money, his current T-3 position netting nearly $580K.

He has steadily improved in his money finishes at the PGA tour. He was 118th in 2016 with 835K and 49th in 2017 with 1944K. A strong finish in this tournament would put his 2018 earnings very close to his full year 2016 earnings. However, he has to finish strong here to get there.

Bad last 4 holes for Anirban today where he lost 4 shots to a double bogey and 2 bogeys even bogeyed the easy par 5 last hole...

Bad finish once again. Anirban seems to lose his concentration or something else happens in the closing holes...
Many good rounds have ended with bad finishes from him lately.

On the positive side, it's another good week with a Top 5 finish.
But, he could have been in the playoffs if he had parred the last 4 holes?

Anirban has a tendency to choke when he is in contention.

And the longer he goes without a win, the worse it will get.
