Yes Sameer and they in title also. :)
Martina Hingis and Sania Mirza won their 10th WTA doubles title together in Brisbane and have now won 26 matches in a row - the longest doubles win streak in 22 years ... Now they r shy of 3 wins from breaking all-time record by Gigi Fernández and Natasha Zvereva, who won 28 matches in a row together in 1994.

In the final German pair was leading 4-2 at one time but after that Sania-Martina responded strongly after winning off 11 of the last 13 games of the match for straight sets win.

Imran Mirza's justifiably proud and meticulous post on FB says it all:

"Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis have scripted an amazing, unbelievable story in the last 10 months in women's tennis. Their stupendous winning streak of 29 straight matches all over the globe during the course of which they are on the verge of capturing their 7th consecutive title including the US Open and the prestigious Year-end Finals in Singapore is historic. They have not lost a match since going down to a Chinese Taipei pair in August 2015 in Cincinnati. The media's excitement is understandable though some misconceptions seem to have inadvertently been passed on from somewhere, which need to be clarified in order to view the 'San-Tina magic' in its proper perspective.
While the achievement of winning 29 straight matches that San-Tina have managed to do, is phenomenal, it is not an all-time world record in women's doubles. It is the longest winning streak for "currently active players" who are still playing the game of tennis professionally. It is also the biggest winning streak in international tennis for the last 22 years and eclipses the streak of two giants of the game, Gigi Fernandes and Zvereva , who won 28 doubles matches in a row in 1994. However, if my information is correct, Novotna and Sukova have won 44 matches on the trot in 1990, which is more than a quarter century ago while Martina Navratilova and Pam Shriver had an even bigger winning streak as a team in 1984.
Having said this, it would be fair to add that over the years the format and rules of the doubles game have changed drastically. In modern day doubles, except in Grand Slams, there is no Advantage rule following the deuce, making the next point after deuce a sudden-death deciding point. Also, the 3rd set is decided by a Super Tie-break and is won by the team that wins 10 points with a difference of 2. This has made the game of doubles tennis even more exciting and unpredictable where the stronger teams find it more difficult and challenging to keep winning consistently. Under these new rules, the 29 match winning streak of San-Tina is a world record, having broken the one previously held by Sara Errani and Vinci of Italy who won 26 matches in a row after the Super Tie Break and no-ad rules were incorporated into the doubles game.
However, whichever way you may choose to look at it, the sensational and magical exploits of 'San-Tina' have been nothing less than mind-boggling! So, let's just sit back and enjoy the ride!"

Why do I feel like shooting myself when I read them referred to as San-Tina. This modern day phenomenon can't end soon enough.
