Re: Aditi Ashok
I hope she does not manage her twitter account herself and let someone else manage it.. The comments on SM can be so hurtful and insensitive.

Re: Aditi Ashok
And people should remember the great putt shot she had on the 17th or 18th hole at Olympics (or was it in the playoff?) that was half a centimeter way from falling in and giving her a medal (silver maybe). The damn thing refused to fall into the hole.

Re: Aditi Ashok
She had couple of such shots today as well which could have changed the day for us and could have got her the gold. Anyway, silver at Asian games is not bad at all.

Re: Aditi Ashok
I guess she joins the list of Indians like Milkha, PT, MB, Sania, and Bops who were all awfully close to an Olympics medal but just could not get one. The others at least have Asiad medals. Hope Aditi will get one later too.

Re: Aditi Ashok
Aditi had a shocker of a final round, no doubt. It can be devastating mentally to give up a 7-stroke lead on the final day, as she did. But I hope she focuses on the positives (as in her Twitter post): a silver is still an achievement, and she had a record round of 61. She is still young and will hopefully get an Asiad gold before long -- as well as an Olympic medal.

Re: Aditi Ashok
pkbasu, I agree with you!
This performance of Aditi's was very reminiscent of one of the biggest meltdowns in the history of men's golf - the 1996 Masters tournament where Greg Norman led Nick Faldo by 6 shots going into the final round, but ended up losing by 5 shots! Norman collapsed on the final day while Faldo had the best round of the day!

Re: Aditi Ashok
^^ What is the location of this tournament ? It will be great if you also put location of the tournament in your result update, Prajgolf. Sometimes it is evident in the name of the tournament but sometimes it is not as in this week.

Re: Aditi Ashok
I think this would count for both LET and LPGA. Although she has already qualified for the final tour event of both Tours but lets see if she can finish with her best ranking in both tours.

Re: Aditi Ashok
I believe this is only an LPGA tour event this year. In some of the prior years, it has been a joint event between the LPGA and the KLPGA (Korean LPGA).
In a relatively rare occurrence, the prize money in the KLPGA tour is significantly more than the prize money in the Korean men's tour for golf.
