I would love to see Vaidehi and SS Rao playing the W15 tournaments in Thailand starting May 29th.

This looks like calender in India for men and women for December to February 2024 ( after this week)-

Men-

January 8- ITF M25 Mandya
January 15- ITF M25 Bhopal
January 22- ITF M25 Chennai
February 5- ATP Challenger 100 Chennai
February 12- ATP Challenger 100 Bengaluru
February 19- ATP Challenger 100 Pune

Women

December 18- ITF W25 Solapur
December 25- ITF W40 Navi Mumbai
January 15- ITF W50 Bengaluru
January 22- ITF W50 Pune
January 29- ITF W50 Indore

There are reports that there will be a WTA 125 in Mumbai in early February but it is not on official calender yet.

So, lot of home tournaments for our players. I am not sure though if anyone from mens side barring RamK is in a position to take advantage of these tournaments.
On the womens side I am hopeful, that likes of Rutuja, Sahaja, Shrivalli. Vaidehi, Zeel etc. can take advantage and zoom up in rankings post these tournaments.

This is a great time for Indian players to build some buffer in points and money, before heading out to play international tennis for the rest of the year

Only a select few from the women’s side will actually get to play these events.

W50 Bengaluru - Ankita Raina (MD), Rutuja, Sahaja, Vaidehi, SRB, Zeel (QD).
W50 Pune - Ankita Raina (MD), Rutuja, Sahaja, Vaidehi (QD)
WTA 125 Mumbai - No Indian in the MD (cut off - #179). 4 MD WCs + 12-player QD for 6 spots.

So some of our top players will be at the mercy of the organizers to hand out WCs.

Yes, due to bunching up of these tournaments with big tournaments such as WTA 125, the fields are likely to be quite tough. So, let see if Indian players can take advantage of these tournaments.

Are there WCs for the W50's too?
