Anirban had a poor start at the Houston Open, he had a 2 over par round on the day 1 and is currently tied for 117 position.

:goodluck: for Round 2.

Good steady round 2 from Anirban.
Round of 3 under par with just one bogey.
Missed the cut but it will help him for the main event next week - The Masters.
Hope he does well next week and atleast makes the cut.... :goodluck:

Anirban started very well and was 3 under after first 4 holes and in top 10.
Had 3 bogeys with 1 birdie after that and was in top 25 after 17 holes.
Disaster struck on the last hole - a triple bogey :damn: to push him from T22 to T78.
Hope he has learnt from today and has a good steady round to make the weekend play.
Masters Champion Jordan Spieth trails Anirban by a stroke ;)

Anirban ended up with 2 under par for the day with 4 birdies and a double bogey. He had a few more birdie chances that he couldn't convert... He had his 2nd water shot (13th hole before which he was -3 for the day) in two days on the double bogey hole... If he had avoided the water yesterday (triple bogey) and today (double bogey), he would've been in Top 10.
He's T50 at par after two rounds and has most probably made the cut...
:goodluck: for the next two rounds.....

Spieth came back strongly today with a flawless round of 9 birdies to go from T93 to T3...

Anirban Lahiri had an excellent bogey free 5 under par round for the day.
With 3 birdies and an eagle, Anirban is currently in top 20 of the leaderboard.
He missed few other birdie chances but nevertheless good performance for the today.
:goodluck: for the final round.

A rather poor finish on the final day for Anirban (72, which I think is 1 over par). So he finishes 4-under for the tournament and tied for 44th place. (He was T27 after R3).

Anirban gets to play "THE PLAYERS Championship" this week - also known as the fifth major.
He has been steadily improving in past few weeks and this will be his last tournament in the immediate future as he flies to Europe to play the European Tour events before returning in June for US Open and hopefully a few more tournaments there....until THE OPEN.
:goodluck: Anirban - who tees off the tournament as he is playing in the first group.
All Top 50 in the world are playing this week...
