Great job on that final hole. The projected cut is now at 5-over, so Anirban at 3-over is definitely going to make the cut. He is T46 (still tied with Jordan Spieth, and also with the veteran former champion Vijay Singh).

Double bogey on the first hole for Anirban today, and a bogey on the second. Aargh!

Anirban Lahiri just finished his final round with a score of 7 over par and his placed at the bottom of the table for 75th position.

This has been a pretty bad year for Anirban. Need to regroup and find out what has gone wrong.

At WGC-HSBC Champions, SSP Chawrasia scored a even par round 1 and is T48.

SSP improved on his overnight position with score of 2 under par round and has moved to T29.

SSP Chawrasia has finished T31 at the WGC-HSBC Champions with a score of 1 under par. This is his best ever finish at a WGC event.

Shubhankar Sharma will make his debut at WGC-Mexico Championship. He will be the last person to tee off today at 1:15 pm (Mexico City Time)

Shubhankar had a decent round with 4 birdies and 2 eagle to be T2 (one stroke behind the leader)

Here are the Ranking scenarios for Shubhankar Sharma for this week at WGC-Mexico
- solo 3rd or better to have a chance to reach top 50 (qualifies for Masters, WGC match play & some PGA tour event)
- solo 7th to have a chance to make the top 64 for WGC Match Play)

Fairy tale continues for young Shubhankar sharma as he finishes his day at 11 under par being an outright leader ( still players to finish) with 5 birdies 1 eagle with 2 bogeys which came on the front nine

Pretty unbelievable stuff from Shubhankar. He is making it look easy against the best in the world!!
Will almost certainly lead going into day 3 although a few players are still on the course. A top 5 finish in a WGC event would be a stupendous achievement and won't be surprised if he achieves it.
