She has support of the Sania Mirza Tennis Academy, which may be why she is able to pick up so many good partners. But she really needs to figure out how to stop losing!

Watched some of the games in both sets today. Both PGT and MA seemed clueless against the Chinese opponents. I think Prarthana really need to take a break, find a regular partner to play together for 2-3 tournaments and find her form. Not every Indian Doubles player is Divij Sharan to keep winning with different partners week in, week out.

Prarthana is 5-17 this year with that (another) R1 loss. Could she not find a reliable regular doubles partner from Asia? There is so many lower level CHs to play in the Asian continent.

At this rate, she might fall out of top-200 for the first time since 2016 soon. I think she is also defending 80 points from last year's title win at the $60K Hodmezovasarhely ITF she won in Hungary.

She really needs to do something. This is not working. Find a regular partner and play some lower level events. Do whatever that can reverse the trend.

She has to resume playing lower-level events, as her transition to WTA tour events has failed. It does happen to some players -- Zeeshan Ali in singles being one excellent example, who simply couldn't transition to higher level Challengers and ATP tour events, and gave up after a year of trying (similarly Ashok Amritraj). For a doubles player, it's tougher if you don't have a regular partner.

Prarthana really needs to find a stable partner, with whom she can play atleast 2-3 tournaments in a go.
This frequent partner hoping and first round loses is doing her no good. It is strain on her resources.
I think there will be plenty of players in the 150-200 range with whom she can play but then its not easy being a doubles specialist.

Prarthana failed to adjust on the clay court after her successful grass court season.

But not this week as she and Eva Wacanno reached the finals at the big $100K Contrexeville ITF in France.

AT $100,000 Contrexeville, France

R1 Prarthana G. THOMBARE (IND) / Eva WACANNO (NED) [3] 6-4 6-2 Sophie MUNTEAN (FRA) / Victoria MUNTEAN (FRA)
QF Prarthana G. THOMBARE (IND) / Eva WACANNO (NED) [3] 6-2 6-4 Anna Maria JOVANOVIC (FRA) / Constance SIBILLE (FRA)
SF Prarthana G. THOMBARE (IND) / Eva WACANNO (NED) [3] 6-2 6-3 Ysaline BONAVENTURE (BEL) / Oksana KALASHNIKOVA (GEO) [2]

The straight sets SF win against 2nd seeds is really good.
