Looks like Rutuja made the main draw at the W100 in Spain this week. She was 5th out from the main draw as of late last week but the qualies draw has players listed below her. The main draw is still awaited.
Update: At the ITF W100 in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain (Hard)
[R1] Rutuja Bhosale (IND,468) vs (WC) Mercedes Aristegui (ESP,1070)
[R1] (2) Rutuja Bhosale (IND)/ Yuliia Starodubtseva (UKR) vs Nahia Berecoechea (FRA)/ Anastasiia Gureva (RUS)
Good partner in doubles there! I don't think she has played with Starodubtseva before.

Whether they should serve (
seva) to the forehand, backhand, or aim for the T.

This loss will haunt Rutuja for days as she had 3 match points in the second set TB

Yes, I watched the first set and Rutuja was playing great tennis. Then, followed the scores and saw that Rutuja missed 3 match points at 6-3 in second set tie break. Such a great chance missed to pull off an upset over a top 150 player.

Rutuja was back in action after an injury break, at the W15 in Singapore a couple of weeks ago... See the results in the
Singapore thread.
She is at the Berkeley W15 in California this week... See the
California W35 series thread for results this week, as she has reached the doubles final at Berkeley.
As Sahaja isn't playing the next week and only Rutuja is at the W35 in Redding, California, we will return here for that event. Maybe also for the Bakersfield W35 the week after if Sahaja does not play that either.
