Re: Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan thread
^^^ In this video, do frame advance and watch at 2.32 when LP starts moving to precisely where the guy was going to hit the ball, when that guys hand had just started the back-swing. How did he know? My God, what reaction from him at his age. He had covered a good 5-6 feet already when the guy hit the ball, and was in place to hit that reflex winner on the run. About as unbelievable a move as you would ever see in tennis! Leander!!!!!

Yes, I saw the anticipation even before you said it. It is just crazy. I was thinking that he did a random guess like a goalie during a penalty shot.

Re: Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan thread
Lee read it off the movement of the player's shoulder -- he was in the process of opening up and then Lee saw it and pounced. What a player!

Re: Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan thread
That was amazing indeed. But so was Jeevan’s diving winner. Nice that 2 of the 10 best shots of last year’s grass season were by Indians. The cancellation of the grass season this year is a massive loss to Indian players.
Re: Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan thread
Come to think of it, we have been without a steady tennis diet for many months. Haven’t seen a new match in ages. Now we are going into a fanless US Open. How crazy is that?

Re: Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan thread
Well, what can we do? Looks like it will take a while for things to return to normalcy. Dimitrov has tested positive now, after the Djokovic exhibition matches. That is a serious setback.

Re: Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan thread
We can do nothing about it but the players could have done something about it. Looks like they did not have social distancing of any sorts just going by some pictures that were shared.

Yes the pictures tell a different story , packed stands , fans hugging players and taking selfies.
Djokovic has truly messed up and exasperated a already worsening situation.

Re: Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan thread
Different type of cat sir. I think this cat is a Rungkat as in the cat that has rung the bell. Being active by virtue of being a tennis player, he is not a cat who lies all day on the rug. Hence, he is not a rugkat. I think very few rugcats, if any at all, want to play an active game such as tennis. Even the mightiest lions sleep 90% of their day or something like that. Only the active cats run up a church's steeple and ring bells just for fun and to confuse the hapless townsfolk about what time of the day it is, etc. Those are the athletic types. Just a minor difference but on this board the type of cat one is matters. Thanks for all the diligent reporting though.

Re: Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan thread
Hey really, I think his name is Rungkat not Rugkat. To say it simply.
