Vijayant acheived his career high singles ranking of 448 this week.He is in Germany now (reason: obviosly not for tournaments,training perhaps).Good luck.

Is Germany becoming new Spain for Indian tennis players ? Saketh also posted on his facebook page that he is in Germany . Jeevan & Balaji also train there regularly.
Congratulations to 22 year old Vijayant Malik for winning his first futures title today when he won the $10K title at Binh Doung, Vietnam. Vijayant had so far made 4 futures finals ( 3 India & 1 in Nigeria since 2011) but the title had eluded him thus far. He finally took it this week in what was clealy one of the toughest $10k futures in Asia .

Those 2 wins in the QF & SF were quite superb & set him up for the title. He was too good in the final. With 18 points from this title, he will move him up around 425 in the singles rankings. I am sure he keeps playing the way he played this week he will be on the way to top 300 soon.
Good win for Vijayant. After being stagnant in the 450+ range from the last 1 year, Vijayant is a making a move up now......
Will have to wait & see how his transition into the CH events be.......
Congratulations to Vijayant on winning a 10K futures abroad featuring a tougher than normal field for this level. It is time to move on and start doing well in the 15K futures as well as lower-level challenger events.
Vijayant has withdrawn from next week's Yokohama CH, where he was 7 out of main draw........
It needs to be seen whether he will play in the Toyota CH the week after next.....
