Suresh and Kothai ,

I have registered for my maiden HM at The Cool Runners' Half Marathon event at YMCA.Anyone of you registered there? The deadline is tomorrow.

REgistrations already closed ..

By the way did you guys come to D2D.. I was there with my sister & my kid..MY kid did the 2km .. we did the 10km..

I ran 10K at the D2D, so did Dinesh but I couldn't meet him.

I did my maiden HM @ The YMCA grounds today .

First 17 kms.were all.good , then started a lil pain in my left feet . Got a chance to catch up with a running group . Got motivated when a 70+ grandpa chased over me inspiring me to join him .

Clocked 1.53" . Feeling very glad today . Ppl told me I'm looking like an athlete

Should take a break off now.ZzZ

@Dinesh Wow, that is a good time. I am struggling to get under 2 hours. Let's see what happens next weekend when I run the HM at Auroville.

Dinesh, Congratulations. That's a great timing. I'm going to run my second HM next month and my optimistic goal is 2:10. At 48, If I do it under 2:10, I'd feel like 25 yrs younger than my age .

Yeah bro but unfortunate that i realized it at a wrong time (perhaps a lil late). I should train more to think of much better timings.

Ran my first ever sub 2hr HM at Auroville yesterday thanks to the awesome weather. It was further helped by pace making (for 13K) from a group of people. After 13K, I couldn't keep up with them and ran my own race the rest of the way. My timing was 1:58:30.

Suresh, wow! You are the man! Another sub 2 hr HM in this forum. Congratulations!
We have pretty serious runners in this forum. And here I'm who would be in the category of "also ran" when I do it on March 2nd. Anyway, Ill take some encouragement from this.
