^^^ How many Dhyan Chand stadiums do we have? Pimpri has one too? We should stop diluting the value of the name by using it everywhere. Like all the Nehru stadiums, Rajiv Gandhi railways stations and rural schemes and all that... And all the Modi stadiums and airports in the future for sure (one is already there and Modi is still alive!). Thank God we have not named any big toilet in Mumbai as Sachin Showchaalay or anything (I hope we haven't!). I am scared that Malayalees will call the next garbage dump in Thiruvananthapuram as PR Sreejesh paristhiti samrakshaka kendram next.

^^^ We should call that silly monstrosity, ugly colors and all, simply "Motera Stadium". Even something interesting like "Sabarmati Nadi Stadium".

Lords is Lords. Oval is Oval. The Rose Bowl is the Rose Bowl. Cam Nou is Camp Nou. MCG is just MCG.

Salt Lake should just be Salt Lake. But that also got renamed after somebody who I am not sure ever played football for his anandam. He used his "cerebral discretion" for his enjoyment. We as a country should show some "vivek" too, in naming sports stadiums.

:D :D :D

But surely having multiple Dhyan Chand stadia is far more appropriate than having multiple stadia named after politicians who could barely play any sport!
